Changes to Cellular Services

Starting July 1, 2026, the University has transitioned to Softeligent as its new platform for ordering and managing cellular devices and services.

Softeligent replaces Motus and is already used by the University for telephone billing. By managing telephone and cellular services in one system, the University will have improved visibility into billed telecommunications services.

Softeligent supports a self-service model. Faculty and staff may submit cellular device orders and upgrade requests through the Softeligent portal at uconn.softeligent.app. Requests will be routed to Departmental Coordinators for review and approval.
