ITS and the Office of the Provost will co-host Staff Technology Day on Tuesday, June 4, 2024.
Staff Technology Day is a conference-style event that provides professional development for non-technical UConn staff on IT systems and services. Presentations focus on knowledge sharing and best practices. They are created and delivered by technical staff with specific domain expertise. There was strong feedback last year that the time to connect, meet the people behind an IT service, and ask questions in person was beneficial to everyone. We are happy to offer Staff Technology Day again this year with some improvements. It will be in McHugh Hall so that we can accommodate more attendees, have greater flexibility with itineraries, offer more options, such as hands-on workshops, and use lecture capture for later review.
