Alumni Forwarding Service

ITS made the business decision to migrate away from Google’s Workspace services after they modified their terms and conditions.  Consistent with this transition, alumni accounts will be permanently closed on April 30, 2024.  After careful consultation with the Alumni Center and Foundation, we have elected to help graduates maintain a connection to the university by implementing an email forwarding service.  Alumni will be able to register a personal email address with us, which we will associate with their @uconn.edu address.  Any mail sent to the UConn address will be automatically delivered, instead, to their personal address.  This will require annual renewal.

We will formally launch the forwarding service on January 31, 2024.  On this date, alumni will receive a message with an activation code and registration instructions.  Other students will be notified when they graduate.
