UConn now has an official e-signature software solution for University schools and departments.

ITS and Budget and Planning have procured an enterprise-license for Nitro Sign. The centrally funded software is available for institutional business at no charge.

Nitro Sign offers the same secure functionality as DocuSign but at a significantly lower price point – $0.64 per envelope versus over $4.00 per envelope. This cost reduction enables the University to manage the expense centrally, reducing cost pressure to individual areas and providing broad access to an important, efficient solution.

Schools and departments not currently using a secure, university-approved digital signature platform should adopt Nitro Sign. Departments using DocuSign may continue to use their remaining envelope allocations and should transition to Nitro Sign once those are exhausted.
