ITS has progressively equipped centrally-scheduled classrooms with capabilities that support remote teaching and learning. Previously, select classrooms had videoconferencing technology tied to the Webex platform. Over the 2021 summer intersession, ITS updated supported classrooms to provide greater flexibility. The microphones and document cameras in all classrooms and the cameras in videoconferencing-enabled rooms are now integrated with the classroom computer. They will also connect to a personal laptop using the HDMI and USB cables provided at the teaching station. Instructors will be able to present classroom content online with their choice of equipment and platform (e.g., Webex, Teams, Collaborate).
