Training on Microsoft OneDrive

OneDrive is a Microsoft hosted cloud storage solution available to everyone at the university through our Microsoft 365 licensing agreement.  It delivers the most flexible file storage option to our community.  Individuals can securely save, share, edit, and request files from any device with an Internet connection and do not need to establish a remote access connection.  It also integrates with other Microsoft 365 applications, such as Teams and Outlook, to facilitate file sharing and collaboration.  OneDrive is the ITS recommended file storage solution for all UConn employees.

ITS has worked with Microsoft to provide OneDrive training sessions to better support your use of this storage solution.  The first session is scheduled for Tuesday, May 18 at 11:00 am and will be presented as a Teams live event. This presentation will cover the basics (e.g., how to create, upload, share, and edit files) as well as some of the more advanced features available on computers running Windows 10 (e.g., access via File Explorer, files-on-demand, sync settings).  This upcoming opportunity will be broadly announced on the Daily Digest and Events calendars.

More information about OneDrive and links to register and attend the event are available on the Knowledge Base.
