View technical details for the upcoming architectural changes to the university email service.

Throughout the spring, ITS has been testing cloud-hosted mail filtering products to assess if they improve phishing detection while maintaining or improving spam filtering.  The new enhanced threat controls for Office 365 and G Suite will be comprised of two filtering services, Exchange Online Protection (EOP) and Advanced Threat Protection (ATP).  Solidified design details have been published at the following location: email.uconn.edu/threat-prevention-service-documentation.  You are invited to review this information at your convenience.  These service changes are tentatively scheduled to be implemented on June 25.  We will co
