Updates to the PeopleSoft Student Administration System (Student Admin) have enhanced its support resources and improved its landing page.
Student Admin is an enterprise system that holds key student data and supports the business processes of academic advisement, admissions, student financials, financial aid, registration, and student records. This highly visible system is used by students, instructors, advisors, and administrators at all campuses. The accuracy of its online documentation is crucial to usability. ITS has collaborated with university stakeholders to organize, consolidate, and transition all support material to the central content management system. This improves the immediate quality as well as the long term maintainability of these frequently used resources. Coincident with this effort, the ITS Web Development Lab redesigned the system landing page, both to modernize its appearance and to facilitate easier access to the help and how-to guides. The new landing page is available at www.studentadmin.uconn.edu.
