Change moratorium update

March 31, 2020

The University and its community have proven to be quite resilient over the past few weeks, and many, if not most, activities have shifted to either partially or fully remote. ITS imposed a limited change moratorium to mitigate potential disruptions during this period.  We have aggressively supported and carefully observed community activities over this period.  The current moratorium prevents ITS from advancing initiatives that build, maintain, and evolve the systems, services, and capabilities that are endemic to institutional success.  It is our assessment that the risk of avoiding changes now exceeds the risk of making them.  Consistent with this, we will be lifting the limited change moratorium starting tomorrow, April 1.
