GPT-5 Available for Paid ChatGPT and Copilot

GPT-5, OpenAI’s latest and most advanced language model, is now available for UConn users who have purchased a license for ChatGPT or Microsoft 365 Copilot.  It’s coming in a few weeks for Microsoft Copilot chat, the free version that’s available to everyone at UConn with a Microsoft 365 account.

ChatGPT users will see it as their chat model, and 365 Copilot users will see a “Try GPT-5” button in their chat window. It will automatically update and be available for Copilot chat.
