AnyConnect utilizes NetID credentials for authentication, but it does not comply with our single sign on (SSO) standard. The connection it provides is secure, but its prompts and other behaviors are somewhat different than those exhibited by SSO. ITS has elected to provide a more consistent experience for the community and improve overall support for AnyConnect by moving its client to our common SSO infrastructure. This change is tentatively scheduled to occur on November 30, 2022.
