A new voter registration feature is available on the Student Administration (SA) system.

The University has a substantive and long-standing student get-out-the-vote effort.  Consistent with this, ITS partnered with the Connecticut Office of the Secretary of State to enable integration between SA and the state’s voter registration system.  A link was added this week to the self-service page on SA that allows students to initiate a transfer of their name, address, and birthdate from SA directly into the state’s registration workflow, streamlining the registration process.  Both the state and the university value and encourage student participation in the election process, and this initiative was a natural alignment of our shared interests.
